MPR interfaces with major export terminals, including Richards Bay Coal Terminal (RBCT), Richards Bay Dry Bulk Terminal, and Richards Bay Grindrod Terminal, enabling efficient access to global markets.
Originally established as Menar Commodity Services, we have expanded our operations to include rail services, siding ownership and management, stockpile management, material handling systems, and back-of-port logistics.
MPR has conditional access to South Africa’s rail networks through the Transnet Rail Infrastructure Manager (TRIM) initiative, which enables the company to operate cargo trains on national networks.
As a member of the African Rail Industry Association (ARIA) and an accredited Train Operating Company, MPR emphasises partnerships and industry development.
